“Our family had a fantastic last-minute stay at Hotel Providence. The location can’t be beat; it is in walking distance from almost anything you could want to do in Providence. Our room (two queen beds) was clean, spacious and comfortable. The “continental” breakfast buffet was nicer than a typical continental breakfast, with several hot options and lots of fresh fruit. I would absolutely stay here again!”

“Quando siamo arrivati il riscaldamento era rotto, nel senso che o riscaldava a temperature sopra i 50 gradi o doveva essere spento. Lo abbiamo fatto presente alla reception che ha fatto spallucce e detto che la mattina dopo avrebbero mandato qualcuno a sistemarlo (ma non e' successo). Il giorno dopo ci siamo poi trovati tutto il giorno chiusi in hotel a causa della tempesta di neve (questo non e' colpa dell hotel) - ma il personale non ha mosso un dito per cercare di alleviare la situazione...

Bathroom was large and clean and had soap, shampoo and towels provided. “We stayed at the Admiral Sims on Catherine St. and it was great! The house and property were beautiful and in a good location. Easy walk to the beach, and a little bit longer into downtown Newport but it is doable. Next time we come back we will definitely be bringing our dog!”

“We loved our stay at Hydrangea House. The staff was welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and loved the cookies at night. A welcome surprise was the wine and cheese from 4pm -6pm. The area is cute and walkable. We did the 3.5 mile Cliff Walk with views of the ocean and Newport Mansions. ”

“We stayed here for our wedding anniversary and so glad we found this adorable inn. Their yummy breakfasts were pleasantly served by the inn keeper, Kim and the Inn accommodated my gluten allergy for breakfast treats. Within walking distance to shopping, restaurants and the wharf, we basically left our car in their private parking lot and walked everywhere. An added bonus, 4-6pm they served cheese, crackers and wine. We will definitely return. Thanks for a great, warm stay.”

"La mia permanenza in questo hotel non è stata soddisfacente. Il personale della reception non era gentile ne’ disponibile. Le chiavi elettroniche non funzionavano bene e abbiamo dovute sostituirle più volte. La struttura non è bella e non è tenuta bene. Le stanze sono discrete, abbastanza grandi con spazio per valigie ed effetti personali, c’è una vista carina sul porto. La posizione è oggettivamente molto centrale e strategica per visitare Newport. Tuttavia la pulizia è molto approssimativa, il bagno direi sporco. Abbiamo soggiornato due notti e la stanza non è stata mai rigovernata e pulita. Ci siamo dovuti arrangiare con pochi asciugamani…. Da ultimo, le stanze non sono insonorizzate e si sentono rumori incredibili a tutte le ore. Mi spiace ma non tornerei in questo albergo "
